Default Jumpseat on Air Canada Jazz

Anyone know the procedure for jumpseating on Air Canada Jazz? I know we, US pilots, can't ride up front but how do you request the jumpseat. At the gate or by phone?

Call 800-413-1113 and make a non-rev/jumpseat listing anytime before departure and show up at the gate. Remember to pay the departure taxes at the ticket counter when coming back into the US or from overseas. AC is great!

Default AC jumpseat

F10A:

How would a jumpseater pay departure taxes at the ticket counter when coming back INTO the United States?! After leaving customs inbound?

What are you trying to say here?

In Canada > USA, you have to go to the ticket counter to pay taxes and recieve a standby boarding card. Then you proceed to customs. Then to the gate where you talk with the gate agent. Often times they have to wait for the Captain to get a jumpseat form to complete.

Also make sure you have a jumpseat agreement with them. At UPS we can jump domestically on American, however not international (learned this the hard way and it cost me about 12 extra hours commuting that day).

I don't believe you can sit in the cockpit of another carrier going international period (not sure how it works with cargo carriers or on aircraft with no cockpit doors).
