Greetings all...
From what I can gather UAL's Hiring Board meets every Thursday (most times) and either an email is sent the next day (bad) or a call is made (good). Did anybody get the 'no thanks' email prior to the Board meeting and if so how many days after their interview?
I have seen on posts that no news is good news and if you go 7 days without the email it's a good sign...
Ya'll know how it is...dreading every email that pops up and ready to strangle the unknown callers who I swear have Chicago area codes...this sucks!

Got the offer the next Friday after interviewing. It seems that the board does meet every Thursday. It also seems the earlier in the week you interview the later in the day they call or email or that may not be accurate. The HR folks were very cool...real down to earth.

Why would anyone want to go to work for UAL? I just don't see it? With a Delta or Cal buyout looming, UAL pilots don't have anywork rules, and a bunch of ****sed off employees. Why would you wanta go there?
