Are you refferring to:
SILS
March, 2008 Bid
February, 2008 Awards

I can't seem to get anything right now; server must be down? I'm getting a "HTTP Status 500" page for everything I click. I'm normally able to pull up Conversion list, Category list, PWA, even Bid Packages; but nothing this morning. I've got 19 hours in Wisconsin, so I'll try later and forward anything I do find.

No, not under SILS, under

Bid Awards

February Bid Awards

It will then pull up a screen that you can select which base/equipment you want to see results for. Select the "X" for whatever you want to see under "Wide Reports".

just tried it, worked fine

Yep you're missing what you need.

I'm heading out the door for lunch, but if you want to pm me your e-mail address, I'll see if I can send you the bid results when I get back.

Which airplane/seat?

Jay do you who you're sending this info to? I don't think it's a good idea to be sending info from a secure site to people currently not on the seniority list. I do not want my schedule viewed by anyone that is not authorized. Even though this person seems to be a DCI pilot there is probably a reason that Delta does not allow access to this info.
I mean no offence to anyone's motives but this is the internet.

Fair enough. Won't send. He'll see them in a week or so when he starts.

Point taken. It's just that as the date closes in, my curiosity grows; plus, there's only so much to do in Wisconsin when it's 7 deg F outside!! I'll see it all soon enough.

Sully606,
I totally agree with your concerns and I think other do to. I think the info we are really looking for is a breakdown by Base and then each Aircraft analyzing what seniority # is
1. Lowest on the FO reserve list
2. Able to hold an FO line
3. Able to upgrade to Capt
4. Able to hold a Capt line

I believe this info will allow the new-hires to make better informed decisions on day-one as well as upcoming AEs. I know the decision will be difficult for my family. Maybe the JFK commute from TX is a good option to start. Hopefully, someone sitting reserve with a lot of time on their hands can help us out! Thanks!

I understand the newhires' apprehentions regarding base assignments. The decision making process for you and your family is critical. Having as much info as possible with the short timeline Delta gives to make your first base choice, it helps to have a game plan set when you report on that first day.

There are plenty of ways to get this information in generalities and most has been posted numerous times on this forum. I will get you anwsers to the first two questions later. The last two questions are all but impossible to anwser with anything close to certainty.

I was told 3 1/2 years to captain when I was hired. I could have held it at about 9 years and because of my wanting to stay senior I upgraded at 14 years. There is just too many variables to make a prediction.

I'm based in NYC on the ER and know many TX commuters. Most either want to fly international or think the commute is about the same as going to ATL. It depends on what city your commuting from in TX. I'm sure some Texas pilots can chime in.
