Alaska had problems way before the Kasher arbitration of 2005. January 31, 2000 rings a bell. I just wish I would have followed the advice of all my peers and left back in early 2001.

We'll see, but I'm still not hearing much good news from those of you currently in. Looks like I'm going to get that job flying HH-60's for the Guard in ANC, and with FedEx/UPS on a hiring hiatus for the next few years, I'll probably try to get on with PenAir/ERA/Frontier to wait things out. I'd love it if things got worked out there at AS since I'm from Seattle originally, so living either there of ANC would be great, but sounds like you guys aren't all that hopeful ...
