Has anyone interviewed with USAirways lately? I have an interview with them on Wed the 23rd.

I haven't interviewed with them but here's the link to aviationinterviews.com's US AIR gouge. Good luck!

Default US interviews

The interview is one of the easiest out there.

1 hour HR and 1 hour TMATT.
A few approach plate questions and you are done.

I have no idea if this format will stay the same.

You will get a tour of the facilities by a pilot. This is part of the interview. Don't get to comfortable just because he is a pilot. You are being evaluated in your demeanor.

Cheers,

Hey good luck on the interview today! When you get back, can you give us a break down of times and background of some of the other applicants? I'm just curious to see what's competitive for US Airways. I'm currently a regional FO at one of their wholly owned subsidiaries and am interested in working for them one day. Also, I'd be curious to know if there are any PSA/Piedmont people interviewing today, given Airways' preferential hiring agreement with PSA/Piedmont. Thanks in advance for any info you can give us...and Good Luck!

I just got back from Charlotte. Great group of people. They made me feel relaxed. Mostly TMAAT questions, a few technical from Jepp plates and charts. I was the only one there at the time of my interview. When I finished, somebody else came in to interview but I did not get a chance to talk to him. They pulled him in to fill out paperwork right after he got there.
As far as competitive times I don't know. I was curious to know myself. I only have about 46 hours of jet PIC. The resume they had in hand during my interview was not my current one. I recently upgraded, so I gave them a new one and only then did they find out that I am a Captain at my current job. I do have 7 years of 121 time and some DC-10 SIC time.
I do not know anyone, did not get any help from anyone at all. I was completely surprised when they called my last week for the interview.
If you want to work for them, just apply online and keep updating your app. That's what I did.

Best of luck.
