US Air Interview

Can any recently hired US Air pilots give me a time frame from when they were interviewed to when they were notified? Thank you.

Is USAir even hiring???? I thought they were still recalling guys back to the RJ's and then ultimately to the mainline..... no?

Yes, US Airways is hiring. Virtually all of the flowback pilots at PSA and Piedmont have been given a class date. They are hiring off the street. Now is the time to put your resume in if you want to go there!

Despite the whiners who complain that this is not a perfect airline, I can tell you from the inside that this is "Not a bad place to work".

- The paycheck comes on time and does not bounce.
- If you have an issue, usually there is someone you can call to get it resolved,
- The pay is what really sucks here but I expect that will get worked out once the union/labor crap gets resolved.
- New airplanes on order and being delivered monthly.
- New international routes being added in 2008 and 2009

I mean there are better places to be but if you want to work for a major carrier then here is one that is an option.

IIRC someone on here had posted that their app status changed from "inbox" to "review" or something like that and then they got the call. Mine has always shown inbox...I haven't been called, but some on here have.
