Question DAL 757s from JFK

With DAL starting to fly 757s to Europe from JFK, is that going to be done by the JFK 76ER base or will there be another sub-base for just that flying? Thanks.

If youre a 767 pilot or 7ER pilot at Delta, you fly all versions and configurations of the 757 and 767 interchangably.

"767" (which is "domestic) or "7ER" (which is "international long range") category is simply choosing what routes you fly. (7ER goes all over the world... 767 doesnt do ocean crossings or cross the equator.)

They're in the same category; we're already flying to Shannon with them. Malaga, Spain starts soon.

We use them throughout the system, but we will be using them as CVG767A said to Malaga, Manchester, Shannon and Frankfurt.

They are just 75's with HDG's and winglets.

They're also supposed to do JFK-BRU with them. I have family there so that's why I was asking. I start March 17 and plan to bid the 7ER, if I can hold it.

I'm sure you will hold it, just maybe not a line. Reserve for months.

43xx, so I'm a little less than halfway up the pack. I saw today's class only had 10 7ER slots. I'm curious how junior it went. Don't get me wrong. I'd love to fly the Mad Dog. But give the choice...

Hey Up,

This was on the Latest and Greatest Thread -

3/3/08 class:

10 767ER JFK
11 MD88 NYC
14 MD88 ATL
5 737 LAX
1 757/767 LAX
2 MD88/90 CVG
1 737 CVG
3 MD88/90 SLC

ER's and MD-88's were gone about half way through.

No SS given to correlate though?
Guess we'll both find out on the 17th!
