The pilot shortage has been put on hold for another five years due to the age 65 law. Oh well, at least unemployment is up again...................

Juice,

I wasn't picking at TProp drivers, I was one for 3 years in my journey and I agree they definitely have a place at regionals interested in making a profit. I just found it amusing that a Saab FO knew there was a pilot shortage!

Kinda of like the ol' sayin', "if you're so smart, why ain't you rich?" I wish everyone in this career at least the level of smooth sailing I have experienced and hopefully better. I just know that it is not the reality of this profession.

Cheers!

And once it's over, you probably never will again in your lifetime.
I'd love to tell you it's over, but there are bigger airlines in serious trouble. At least two majors and, if I'm reading the 10K correctly, one legacy. These are challenging times.

yes indeed...my friend...it is sad to see how bad this country's economy is getting.

Tell that to all the BigSky and Skyway guys out there. You're not safe either.
