Simply amazing...
Someone a few posts before me got it right - this guy absolutely KILLED ATA. Apologies for spelling these names wrong, but George Mikelsons (sp) the former Pres. of ATA put Tague in charge of the domestic operations, and he was, IIRC, mostly responsible for the horrendous lease rates of their new aircraft.
He added a bunch of domestic service, too, which was probably ill advised, competing with Southwest out of MDW instead of "peacefully" (sarcasm intended) co-existing with them as they had for many years.
At least he doesn't have awful paint jobs to his credit. Yeah, he's failed a bunch of times, most notably at ATA, but Wolf left those awful, light gray over dark color paint schemes at Northwest...United...Airways to some degree. Where on earth did he end up?
He'll probably be announced as the next CEO of AA, at the rate things are going.
Good luck to everyone...Tague for United is bad news.

They could make one hell of a porno down in the valley about airline management sleeping with each other. Everytime CNN or FOX reports on a new airline exec there should be faint BOWCHICABOWWOW music in the background. They are so good at screwing their employees they probably give each other one hell of a ride
