Exactly...the reductions are for September, when the summer flying schedule is winding down and the DC9s that were already announced to be going away start doing just that.

Retirements and shifting have opened those positions further. Hiring has stopped so any retirement is now a net loss with no replacement. Retirements are still happening and even when we were hiring the retirements were outpacing the hiring. Supposedly the hiring that was done already took into consideration the aircraft retirements. I guess we will see huh.

I don't know what all the fuss is about, FE in the whale is the best. I've flown 7 legs in 2 1/2 months and the trips are all one legs maybe two on a bad day. Plus its international to Asia. You'll love the fishing up here right now and the snow machining in the winter. Welcome aboard!!
