Boone Pickens the other day said $150 by Fall, if I heard him correctly. He is highly respected in the commodities market, but he is also on the board at British Petroleum (BP).

Remember that oil is priced in US dollars, and if the dollar keeps falling due to huge deficits generated by Congress and ultra-low FED interest rates in order to prop up the investment banking system, there is no telling how high oil can go.

we're not that far away now folks.....it'll probably happen in the next couple months.....

If there is one strong hurricane that goes through the gulf.....well.....things will get VERY bad.....come back to this thread in 2.5 months when we have a whopper go through up toward Louisiana or TX

The same guy at Goldman Sachs who was correct when he predicted the timetable for $105 oil has now predicted $250 oil within 18 months.

As of right now oil is trading at $128.00/barrel - the lowest in 8 days. It is quite possible that the price of oil may be heading towards a decreasing trend.

There are lots of things you can do - pester your congress-person (to open up drilling or whatever suggestion you have). Drive less, use less energy, buy a hybrid, car-pool . . . .
