Dude....for starters, I don't fly for a regional. And as for guys that MAY be there for 15 years, that is their choice. I for one couldn't do it. Sorry...good try though. And you're right, everyone should run a successful business based on advice from their CFI. You can be ****ed all you want, but the truth is it doesn't matter what business you are in(including the military) you do what it takes to make money and succeed. Hell, I'll be happy to be with my company for 5 years, that's more than some people at HP or Compaq. Bottom line, we all make choices and have to live them. In fact SWA is interviewing a bunch of regional guys today...perhaps they won't have to wait 15yrs after all.

Just looked at the SWA website and they're still available to over 12 cities. I'm sorry but $29?!? I hoped that crap died with SkyBus!
$29 Bucks & it comes with friendly customer service....you don't even have to pay for a pillow, blanket, bag of peanuts, bottle of water, 1'st checked bag, exit row seat, etc., etc. etc.

The legacies have absolutely caused all of their own problems. Southwest has excellent marketing & has had yearly profits every year since the Ford administration , has never had a furlough, pays great wages and benefits & most importantly...has never gone bankrupt. Southwest is the most financially succesful airline in the history of the industry....I think they probably know what marketing works and what doesn't.

I'm sorry but, it's a matter of dollars and sense.
Your branch is no longer viable, it's not a charity it's a business.

We will then systematically go after cars and mopeds as a form of transportation till we get rid of them. Then we shall rule the world...

Im not sure anyone who has worked at a regional for 15 years is making anywhere near high school drop out rates. Not saying that the industry is great for new people but your comparison is pretty far off

Default Prices

I guess that the point is that people will not pay more than $69 for a ticket. If the price was $369 the public would not go. As prices go up demand disappears. There is too much capacity in the sky.
