Does anyone happen to know if an employer can disclose whether an employee has used FMLA?

Who exactly gets counted as part of the average? Does it include all of the various managers/instructors working at the airline who can work in the cubicle with a simple cold? What is the average sick useage for the guys flying the redeye?

And so on,

maybe the real average for a typical line holder is 6 times a year. The one thing I do know is that fatigue and stress can make you more susceptible to becoming ill, and the person it is more likely to imact is the lineholder versus the CP making the phone call
Rest assured each property has this number down to a science. Cubicle pilots didn't count at my place as they didn't fly the line and thus be a liability to the schedule if they called sick. And yes, there were times I did office duty when I was certainly unable to operate under the terms of my medical certificate. Different jobs.

I know you are cynical, but at least I supported my guys when they were sick. The ones using sick for schedule adjustment stuck out like a sore thumb and I had ways to deal with them as well.

Now what the DO did with the numbers during contract time was above my pay grade!
