Anyone heard of Direct Air
Has anyone heard of Direct Air? I read an article about then that said they are leasing an A319 and A320 from VA. Does anyone know if they are hiring pilots or are the crews from VA as well.

so true. they are called myrtle beach direct air and hire out companies to do the flying for them. they have gone through at least a couple of airlines in the past year. i know that Xtra, Jet blue , Pace did some flying for them. they have a habit of not paying thier bills so the airlines dump them and move on to someone else who dosen't pay the bill. they fly to niagera, neweark, and pitsburg to pick up golfers and bring them to mrytle.

Ha, I fuel those airplanes. Yeah they started operating two flights a week out of TOL. They're also going to be bringing I think it's one more flight a week into TOL but it's ultimate destination is somewhere in Michigan (I don't remember but I think it's Grand Rapids GRR) to load up on fuel before completing the trip. Something about not being able to pass the FBO audit. I have my own opinions about the auditor for VA but I'll keep that to myself lest I say some words my mother doesn't want me saying.
p.s. I agree Toledo is an armpit, I miss GFK
