Jumpseating to Europe

I did ATL-CPH back in july on DL. I'm with ASA so it worked out perfectly for me as I got Business Class both ways. You could non-rev out from the west to ATL and go from there, or head up to JFK, or find something direct. ZED fares are easy to get over there and they are very professional in CPH

…or better yet if you have a friend at one of those airlines ask him/her to make a call to their CP on your behalf.
Lycka till!

From: DD->DH->RU/XE soon to be EV
Like the above guy said, I'd make sure that your carrier has a reciprocal int'l JS agreement with whatever passenger airline you are going to try to ride on. It's always up to the CA, if you can get to him. But if there is no reciprocal agreement, you are not getting on.
Another way might be to try the cargo ACMI's. Atlas, Polar, Kalitta, etc. to get to say AMS, BRU, FRA, STN, etc, then try a Euro LCC to get where you want from there. Yes, I know it sucks as a pilot to have to ACTUALLY pay to get somewhere. But in this day and age, it's becoming more the norm.
Edited to add, FedEx/UPS WON'T take you to Europe, or any other international destination. That's why I mentioned the ACMI's.
Being in CASS has NOTHING to do with int'l JS'ing.
Assuming you DO have an agreement with DAL, and that's who you are going to take, make sure to comply with their int'l JS check in policy 75 (or 90, can't remember) minute policy. Sure would suck to make it to ATL with the flight to Europe open on your specific travel day and you can't get on.
You don't do it, you are NOT getting on.

Thanks for all the comments guys,, unfortunately we do not have any reciprocal for international since we are a domestic 135 carrier. So maybe the chances on DL or CO are slim. Will probably try Kalitta or Polar. I could always use milage but was hoping on saving that for a later. Again thanks for the help.

If you’re willing to switch airlines Orbitz has a $671 (incl. taxes) both ways out of JFK, you could jumpseat to JFL and fly out of there. That’s actually a pretty good deal. One leg is on Alitalia which has been in turmoil but now it’s been taken private with new investors and they supposedly are following their old schedules until the Spring at least . Just don’t jump right around Christmas on any airline – been there done that – you probably will get stuck…

Sat, Nov 15
NWA54 depart JFK 4:30PM arrive AMS 6:00AM
Time between flights: 1hr 40min
NWA8559 (KLM1125) depart AMS 7:40AM arrive CPH 9:05AM
Return
Sun, Nov 30
SAS1685 depart CPH 8:20AM arrive (MXP – Milan) 10:25AM
Time between flights: 0hr 55min - Change Airline.
AZ604 (Alitalia) depart MXP 11:20AM arrive JFK 2:25PM
Either way, good luck.
Just don't try to buy any tickets on Sterling within EU - they went belly up as of today...
