A320 Low Time, Type Rated and looking....
Hi All,
I am planning on a self funded A320 TR at CAE Denver. Would like to know which airlines would be interested in hiring a low time on FAA for a 2-3 year contract here onto my ATP.
Ready to convert FAA to any ICAO. Ready to relocate to any corner of the world so long I fly.
CPL on Diamond Fleet DA20 DA40 DA42
Which operators would show interest? Which part of the world is hiring Low time Type rated 320 pilots.
No US/Europe work permits or authorizations
Any Inputs from Senior Pilots or operator HR's welcome PM me if needed.
Regards,
AirDriver.

Most airlines/recruiting company's want at least 500 hr in type. You have to at least flown the airplane, the type is worthless if you have not actually flown the airplane. save your money, and let your future employer pay for the type.

Most airlines overseas do require time on type.
You should ring up recruiters at various contracting agencies. Below are a few you can start with. Phone calls will be very informative and save you a lot of time.
PARC
Rishworth
Direct Personnel
Brookfield Aviation
You can get their numbers on the internet.
Good luck!

The wispy cirrus clouds in front of the storm..
Just curious, does anyone else here reade PPrune? This kind of crap (the so-called Self-Sponsored Type Rating) is common place for just about every airline in Europe except the global-type majors (BA, LH, VS, etc...).
Our brush with PFT in the 90s here is nothing compared to the disaster over there; guys flying regional-type equipment basically CAN'T get jobs flying medium narrowbodies with the LCC-type carriers because of all the pud-knockers with 300 hours lining up to give type-rating schools their money. (Unless, of course, they want to also give the schools their money; the magical 1000 hours of E145 PIC is worthless in the face of all that money). To the OP, your commercial plus 200 hours in a freakin Diamond does NOT make you ready to be a useful crewmember in a narrowbody jet, no matter what they told you at CAPT.

Please go and waste your money on a worthless type rating that won't help you get a job anywhere.
If you think people here are being rude I suggest you do a little research using the search function on this website and see what PROFESSIONAL "Senior Pilots" think of people like you who pay for their own type ratings.
