Just to set the record straight, in our last contract we are specifically allowed to request a first class seat for jumpseaters if it is available.

Not true. Maybe at some point in the distant past but not 10 years ago and definetly not now.

As an offline guy, do I need to list online anywhere for an Alaska (virgin A320) flight? Or just show up to the counter? Thanks

Just show up. Gate agent might ask for your pilot cert (no idea why they do it). Be there more than 30 min prior
