I just thought it was funny with all the doom and gloom $$ figure and all the positivity toward 2009. But then again what are they supposed to say, "yeah 2008 sucked and we are going to do worse in 2009." That probably wouldn't do to much for investing in AAI. Please disregard my previous post.

Management knew the hedge loss was coming before they recalled pilots, so the plan's probably still intact.

Don't let it bother you C5, Tranny's doing not too bad compared to the rest of 'em. They said it was a one time charge for the hedge loss, and they also posted a record 50 million profit for the quarter.

That is what it sounded like, but I didn't quite get that from the press release. Hopefully 2009 will be much better for everyone.
