Told you. Read back a few pages. It does not come to the US. It is not illegal meat either. It goes from Johannesburg- to DKR and then AF takes some of it. There is also a ton of other cargo that goes in and out of there. Just look in the belly of your jet when you are down there.
Now DAL may be carrying cargo out that I have no idea on..... |
The last time I flew CPT to DKR we loaded at least 50 cases of meat. Not sure what type. I believe there are wild game farms that produce game meat on a commercial basis.

I hear DKR layovers are quite the adventure...among crews laying over, that is!;)
|
Exactly. Nothing is illegal about the meat. But there is a lot of it.

I am posting this because even if there was a valid reason to deny me one of the 60 or so empty seats confirmed by my wife, he could have at least informed my wife. I am also wondering what I will say to the 2 or so Delta guys that show up a year and ask for my jumpseat. I also felt it pertentent to post this under the Delta loss thread.[/quote] Perhaps he was denied a seat/JS on your airline and this was his retaliation! Did you include her seat and did the AA pilot pass that seat #? That flight is on the back side of the clock, and if I were flying it, I wouldn't wake up 250 pax with a PA looking for one to pass a non-urgent message. |
