There are plenty of South guys who do not think the sun rises and sets with Lee and FWIW I just had a North guy on the jumpseat who was extremely negative about the Seattle guys (he was a Green book guy).

We have a winner! I really and truly respect differring opinions on the way we've done business... it is good for all of us. But this "you don't know me!" crap is just stupid. A huuuuge majority of guys I fly with don't like Lee or the recent path of the current admin.

I've seen some significant positive change, and with continued help it will continue to manuever in that direction. This emotional pansy crap on the other hand will not. It will only serve to divide. Trying to say "you don't know our language" is just stupid. We're all pilots. We all complain about nearly everything.

Here's all that I ask.... tone down the sky is falling stuff and come up with practical corrections to problems that you see.

What has been done in the past because it was done that way may not be the best way. NWA had an absolutely horrendous relationship with management. That is NOT the best way. DAL was more or less the opposite. That is NOT the best way.

Much like combining our procedures (the final product, not the short game we have now... there is more to come that will truly respect the best of both worlds), there is a very solid and logical middle ground.

Buzz,
luv ya back man, but you've gotta quit sushing us like we're some crazy old aunt up in the attic. We are somewhere like 45% of YOUR pilot group and won't be ignored

Please, get you're fingers outta your ears.....we really do want to help.

I only hope that this will happen, but every thing that we hear or recieve is " this is the way it is and that is the end of the story". I appreciate your willingness to be fair but the ones in the positions that count are not for the betterment of the entire pilot group. They are for preserving an arcaiak way of doing things for the sake of that's the way we have always done it. I'm not saying that our way is better, but to totally close out the option to look at both sides and see what would be the best way to do things is really closed minded.

Not once have I said that either side has things perfect. We are seeing things slowly change. Keep pushing and they will move to the optimum. What I am saying is do not go to the extreme of being a pain in the butt and over emotional. You will only force polarization...

Your avatar is awesome, by the way....

Can anyone chime in on the latest on MD90's from Saudi.

Rumor is a pilot on a FCF from LCA to Shanghai in a China MD90 was told that the Saudi deal was done.

How many MD90's does Saudi have that may be coming to DAL ?
