The MAXjet planes spent more time on the ground then in the air. Hope PACE has better luck with them then MAXjet did.

Makes sense. Pace always did fly beat-up old equipment.
Pace has a new hire class scheduled for this month for four (4) B-737 F/O's to keep up with all the flying they are doing through the summer. Yeah, why is this in the "upstart section". My friend has been with them for over 5 years and they've been in business for at least 10 years ?? G'Day Mates:) |
Phantom,
Pease tell us, how much do pilots at Pace make? There is nothing great about Pace. Red |

How many pilots does Pace Airlines have on furlough? When are the new hires going to be starting? Did Pace airlines ever get on CASS for jumpseating purposes?

The only pay I've heard of is for the Dallas operation and their F/O's start at $ 75,000 and Captains are in the $120,000+ range depending on time in grade. They fly the 757 and 767 internationally and the per diem, hotels, rental cars, etc. are supposed to be fantastic. He says they have been on the CASS system for some time now. That's from 2 pilots who work for them. The rest I can't help you with. Sorry. G'Day Mates:) |

Phantom,
Pace, which owns Hooters Air, furloughed the majority of the pilots when they shut down Hooters Air. The pay at Hooters was half of what you quoted above. Granted, the Dallas operation is different, it's still the same company. 120,000/year was 757 FO pay at most majors before the attack on our profession began. My point is Pace is a job but it's not a place to boast about. Red |
Wrong again flhtrider. I decided to take a job outside of aviation because I refuse to work for a substandard company with a substandard contract! The facts about Pace speak for themselves. What's wrong with calling a spade a spade. So are you ABX, Astar, or Polar?
