B6 and Apple

It was NEVER an Apple choice...it was a requirement by the studios.
Apple - Thoughts on Music
iPods will play music in almost ANY format from ANY store. Amazon, iTunes, WMA, AAC, MP3.
You keep right on using that Zune!

BTW- for those of you insisting that Apple makes you pay a premium...

Apple iMac (24-inch, 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, Winter 2009)
Editors' rating: 3.5
The good: One of, if not the, most affordable 24-inch all-in-one PCs; twice as much hard-drive space as older models; fast Nvidia graphics chip makes the iMac a capable gaming system; best-in-class multitasking performance; iLife digital media suite comes standard.
The bad: Fewer interesting hardware features compared with recent Windows-based all-in-ones.
The bottom line: Apple made a number of changes to this $1,499 iMac, but making a 24-inch screen available at this price is the most impressive. The rest of the updates are welcome, and Apple's multitasking capability remains unmatched. Provided you like your all-in-ones best as straightforward desktop computers, the iMac will meet your expectations with speed and elegance.

Heh. I love this. Mac users just can't accept that someone might actually prefer a PC, even though the reasons are many.
It's mostly image driven though (except for some specialized things the Mac really is good for, like high powered graphics applications). Mac is still running those adds where "PC" is some middle-aged frump guy, and "Mac" is Mr. Cool. Buy a Mac, people will think you're cool has been the marketing genius for the past decade, at least.
This short Maddox video kind of says it best: (hint: "Steve" is the Mac user)

I own both. The PC is only for gaming. The Mac is for everything else.
I have no problem with either choice. Use what you like. Windows 7 looks pretty slick and I'm excited about getting my hands on the retail version.
I only get vocal when people start spouting stuff that makes no sense. (i.e., Macs are more expensive or iPods only play music from the iTunes store)
Fly safe!

I have always felt like the Mac is the equivalent of those "XXXXXX for Dummies" books. Any issues I have had with PCs (with the exception of pre-SP1 Vista) have been self-inflicted. I like being able to do whatever the hell I want and make my computer blow up if I want.
