Default Joe Merchant thread to bash ALPA & Delta

Joe:

Here you are Sir, your own thread to post all of your insults, jibes and hold forth on how much you hate Delta, its pilots, ALPA, your own MEC and those who you jumpseat with.

This is the one thread where your participation is encouraged. A thread where your adding no factual information, offering no one help and doing nothing but bragging about yourself is desired.

A place for you to drag Airline Pilot Central down to the level of Flight Info.

This thread is entirely in your honor, where you can be the big man.

All I respectfully ask is that you leave the "latest and greatest" about Delta to those who like to share information on that topic and leave the "Merge Compass" threads to people who want to discuss that topic.

Here, on this thread, it is all about you. You earned it, enjoy!

Wow...must of ruffled some "fins".....I guess I touched a nerve....That's good....

Shall we look at some of your words when you were an ASA pilot back in 2004?

Those in power ( with half million dollar ALPA compensation packages ) do not want to risk "democracy" at a BOD meeting.

You are also assuming the RJDC litigation, filed prior to the Statute of Limitations for a cause of action resulting from changes when the C2K scope took effect, doesn't exist.

Cohen, Weiss and Simon may have to put a leash on the Delta MEC, or the Delta MEC may have to leave ALPA in order to successfully take jobs from ASA and Comair pilots. Your jets for jobs proposals will get a different reception from the ASA and Comair pilots and we have already seen ALPA's play book by watching what mainline did to the US Air Express pilots.

General, it is nothing personal, but we will defend ourselves. Your MEC sold scope and now those "permitted aircraft types" are being flown by other ALPA members with just as much right to negotiate as you have. I believe this is the last time we will see mainline lock out other ALPA members on the property because the Courts will intervene. All the pieces are already in place and yet, ALPA is walking right into the breach.

I think your double breasted coat might be buttoned too tight....

Way to go Joe, your first post, irrelevant, off point and wrong!

But, hey if we can keep you busy here, maybe some other threads have a chance.

Union reform is completely relevant and I hope you guys can find a way to discuss in a productive way.

I considered closing this thread as I don't see it turning into the productive debate that's needed to affect change with ALPA. Let's let is run a bit longer and see if guys can turn it around.

Bucking Bar, this is entertainment! You started a thread to inviting an opposing viewpoint only to tell him his post was "...irrelevant, off point and wrong!..." That's comedy

I do hope you guys can figure it out, ALPA needs help.

I was just pointing out statements you made when you were at ASA and supported RJDC....Now the double breasted coat and the slowing economy have changed your views....I understand your concern....I would be worried to if I was at the bottom of Delta's list....

I am sympathetic, however my job is not to be used as an unemployment job for those of you who became "real" airline pilots.....

It's a shame....we were once friends...Now the ALPA created wall of "scope" has put us on opposite ends of the fight for our jobs....The "scope" wall is not protecting either of us and is simply dividing us....What a shame...

I agree....Bucking Bar is a great guy...But his job is in jeopardy...He is frustrated and I understand that frustration....ALPA does need help and Bucking Bar knows that too....

No. I started a thread to divert his attention to his favorite topics.

But 'eh, here goes another try.

Joe - how do you propose we fix ALPA? Do you think Delta should decertify?
