I can say with almost, but not total certainty that if DAL furloughs it will not reach Bar.

This is not about his or my backside Joe, it is about making ALPA and our pilot group more better. It is simple in theory, "Recapture what we have lost, and though the recapture, we will increase our constituent base."
There are roadblocks out there, you are on of them, but that does not mean that people like Bar and I will not work tirelessly to gain as much ground as possible. Good fights are worth fighting. I never fought your fight as I saw where it would lead. You did a great job proving me right.
Just think how far we could come if you would quit wasting so much energy fighting us.

Joe - Seriously, this 767 has a flippin huge Jepp update with all the places it goes. If my job is in jeopardy, I'm not going to bother with these or with the FCCQ CD.

Just in case you are wrong, I'll set my alarm clock for the morning.

Hey Bar, make sure you check your sked before you leave for the airport. We have already canceled a ton of flights for tomorrow. Heck some people have had their entire day canceled. Might save you a trip. I will be sitting here watching the show. Enjoy your day.

Here is to hoping for an Inverse Assignment!

But 'eh, here goes another try.

Joe - how do you propose we fix ALPA? Do you think Delta should decertify?
Please don't decertify....That removes the DFR lawsuit from the tool box...For that reason alone, I am against decertification at ASA even as it is actually starting to advocated by many former ALPA cheerleaders..

As far as fixing it, it is probably too late.....However the only way to "fix" it is to put everyone on the same "team"....That can only be done with a national seniority list, or at the very least a "brand scope seniority list"....A cross-bid scenario was first proposed back in 1995 at the first ALPA scope committee hearings...You know the one that was 4 or 5 committees ago....

Is any of this likely at this point? Probably not....Although the United pilots are trying for a national seniority list now that they are on life support...Amazing what mortality does to finding religion.....

How do you propose "fixing" ALPA....You and I were on the same page at one time...

You're OK tomorrow...well except for the snow in ATL....Looking out a few months however, I am concerned about where Comrade Obama is taking the economy....We all should be getting a little concerned.....

ACL65, I am planning on the economy getting much worse...I really don't like the way this is headed...Hopefully I am wrong, but I wouldn't want to be at the bottom of any seniority list right now....Not even FDX or UPS....

They are more overstaffed than any of the legacy carriers. The only thing saving a lot of the jobs at the majors is the fact that we were all very lean from the 1113C era. We did not have enough time to get fat.

We will see GDP increase here later in the year in to next. It is not the next 12 months I am worried about it is after that that I am worried about.
