How do you see it playing out?

That's because you have no leverage. The only time you will have leverage is when you are in Section 6 and make it a strike issue. Even then, if the company is smart, they will dangle a big enough pay carrott in front of 51% of the pilot group and all of a sudden scope "isn't that important" anymore.

HAHAHA.

I will tell you how it would play out, you'd get stapled and then furloughed.

Feeling a little left out?

Don't worry, maybe RAH pilots will be stapled to the bottom of a teamsters seniority list somewhere!

Just how much integration will there be for a company whose pilot list is about a year old?

Why do you think that? I assume you work for the almighty BB... It's a different landscape than the Shuttle or Mid Atlantic acquisition you know.

Since when has date of hire been used? What about my several years at another airline? Is RAH your first? Give me my date of hire at my first airline and I assure you that you'll still be saying "clear right".

I know, my date of hire is irrelevant at my previous company, as is yours if RAH is not your first. When two companies merge their lists, date of hire is not used because there are large variations between companies. If RAH were to buy Compass, we have a new law to test out that was signed into law back in 2007. It requires allegheny-mohawk LPP to be followed; whatever your contract says is no longer relevant as it was for the Shuttle & Mid Atlantic acquisitions.

Which would you rather be, a two year pilot at Compass or an April 08 hire at Delta? I would imagine 100% of Compass pilots would answer that question the same way...

I work for Delta North.

Thats why half of these guys cry for a staple, I wouldnt want 300 pilots who were hired at ALPA carriers years ago to be put on the list in front of me either. But there is no point in this discussion, Compass wont end up at RAH in a million years.
