Dude,
You can hate Obama all you want, but is there any reason why you would be against an ex-president of a flight attendant union being in a position to decide disputes between management and it's employee groups?
I mean come on, the election is over. Quit hating. If you are a pilot, this pick could only be good news. If you think it is not, give a real reason why it isn't, otherwise you come across as not being objective.

I'm not a Democrat nor a Republican but I ask you just how fair minded have the Republicans been? Reagan (Braniff, CAL, UAL, PATCO, Coal Minors, etc)? Bush 1 (Blind Eye George)? Bush 2 (everyone!)? The Democrats, historically have done more for labor than the Republicans, with the exception of Carter.

It all depends on the side of the fence that you are on. While one group prospers the other fails, unfortunelty our side and management are the same team, the two sides just have different rights. With every right comes a responsibility, and until both sides figure this out we are all doomed to our own fate.
I see this appointment as an effort to move things back towards a middle ground as it should be, IMO.

It is funny to see UNION Members complaining about Dems. The way he talk about it as if he was white collar.

Rather than argue about right or left, Rep. or Dem., male or female, maybe a discussion about the nominee; her background, whether this appointment is a good one, etc. Does anyone know of her? Maybe someone has actually worked with her or talked to her. How about something interesting instead of the same old blah blah blah.
