MickeyD's is reliable, clean, consistent and NUMEROUS.

Spirit is more like Dairy Queen. Inconsistent, dirty, and found in only a few locations.

Southwest is the McDonalds of the airline business.
Singapore, British Airways, Cathay, they're the Ruths-Chris's, and little ol spirit is at best a run down DQ with only one lightbuld in the sign.

Someone who is a cheapskate, and doesn't want the extra expense of having to take his wife out for dinner and a movie. Just stay home and play board games.

This is a perfect example of why I never walk into a Mc Donalds.

What does McDonalds have to do with Spirit?

It would be a lot closer comparison to Super Walmarts. Cheap, and found only in few locations.

For one, they are both profitable companies. Say what you want about Spirit, but we have found a niche and we are making money, which is more than can be said about most airlines in the world right now.

Wrong, Spirit has had a couple of profitable quarters. McDonalds has had profitable DECADES.

BBB can only wish that we are like McDonalds.

Don't confuse temporary profitability with long term financial viability.

Good Luck to us.

I totally agree but, Spirit is holding their own in a tough environment when considering the performance of many others. Lets hope it continues and we can all finally get back to work and grow this place. <--- I know, I know. Its the Smithwick's talking. LOL

Agree, Setblue. It burns the same amount of calories to be Optimistic than the alternative. I like to think that way for a change. Good times will come.
