Default Republic E190 pay scale

Six months ago Midwest made this announcement...

To: All Midwest and Skyway Employees
Date: May 21, 2009
From: T.E. Hoeksema
Subject: New Addition to Our Fleet

I am very pleased to share the news that we are expanding our air services
agreement with Republic Airlines to include the addition of two new Embraer
190AR jets. The E190s will be configured to seat 100 passengers in a single
cabin.

Republic Teamsters start flying them with a 76-99 seat pay scale 4-5 months after Midwest announces the new 100 seat aircraft. Republic management MELs the 100th seat to make it a 99 seat aircraft... ???!

What's the status on a new Republic 100 seat pay scale?

S,

Your constant use of different font and Bold Questions is starting to annoy me.

Listen, I am in your position, we used to fly together. I am still out of a job. I am fired up as well about this whole thing and want it to be settled sooner than later.

But, you need to relax man. I understand that your posts are made because you are mad about what happened to us. Every thread of yours, however, gets shut down because it GOES NOWHERE!

YOU NEED TO RELAX AND GET OFF THE INTERNET, MAN!!!!!!

According to BB & co, the seat has not been MEL'ed, it has been "deactivated." A "Do not occupy" band was placed across the seat back. The grievance has been filed.

MD 80, what is your solution to this whole RAH problem? A serious solution that can be done, not some garbage non realisitic one.

1. Republic EXCO should draft a LOA supporting the temporary bidding rights for the 130 active Midwest pilots on 7/31/09. Let BB be the person to say NO, but show some support for the pilots you are replacing.

2. Aggressively handle the greivance against Republic for operating 100 seat aircraft with only 99 seat pay scales. This should be settled or going to arbitration by now.

3. All Republic pilots (Republic, Midwest, Frontier, Lynx, and furloughees) need a monthly newsletters published to help unite the pilot groups. It would include news on grievances, integration, contract talks, monthly meetings, background information about the different pilot groups, ...

I agree 100% with you. But, How can the LOA allow Midwest guys to bid without being integrated first?

1. BB has already said no. He repeatedly stated he hopes one list will come together soon from the pilots group.
2. Aggressively? What at gunpoint?
3. Talk to your rep..there's a communication committee... get involved.... as b82rez said.... get your butt off the INTERNET.

Well, it allowed them to be furloughed without being integrated first, didn't it?

Pay the Midwest pilots min guarantee until the integration is settled. That will make someone get off their cheeks and start talking.
