Default CO 762 JS and GUM?

For Continental guys... Does the 762 have crew-rest quarters? I'm planning to jumpseat MNL-GUM-HNL, and was hoping to try to snag a bunkbed on the GUM-HNL leg if possible.

I thought it was a 767-400 from GUM to HNL. Maybe I'm wrong.

In either case, the aircraft do not have bunks. In fact, the crew rest seat is 3 seats in Coach.

Its a 764. You can ride in the cockpit. Its probably your best chance of getting on. That flight is always full of non revs. Also there is an island hopper in a 738. Thats not everday though. As a last resort, you can probably do hnl-nrt/kix-gum.

I was looking at the seatmap for GUM-HNL on 1/4/10 and it looked pretty open... how many nonrevs are we usually talking about?

A few years back I went scuba diving in Palau, on the flight back we took CAL from Palau to GUM. We were to fly to HNL, but when we got to GUM there were over 50 non revers on the flight. All were CAL employees. I dont fly for CAL, needless to say I did not get on. I had to scramble and we had to fly to KIX then DTW. That GUM flight always has non revers on it. A lot too.

GUM...they breed like flies. Extended family members like PR. Forget NR offlline there. You'll have a hard time just being a CAL employee.... Better to MNL-NRT-destination. You have NW, PR, JAL to get you out. Or run up to HK or even Seoul.

I hear Sin running MNL-AMS N/S too. Then SIN to Kennedy.

Good luck.

PM me if you need more info.

FWIW.

married to flip.
