I think it has always been "New Dawn". EOS is the greek goddess of the Dawn.

Thanks for the explanation. I guess I was absent from school when they covered Greek Mythology.

Actually the "new dawn" call sign was not the first choice. IACO or whomever approves call signs would not allow "EOS" saying it sounded to much like "Helios" or whatever from Greece. I may be wrong but somewhere it was said that "New Dawn" was about the fifth choice.

Hmmm... I thought I heard them use the EOS call sign in the beginning of their operations when coming into EGSS. Probably old age setting I guess.

First year Capt pay is $110/hr, however, you can expect to be paid as an FO for the first year or so $65/hr. At the moment all guys hired are direct Capt hires and can fly in either seat. If you get called to fly as the Capt....you get Capt's pay, otherwise you bid as a FO.
