Republic may drop Midwest name

.....not.... for the record, the offer on the table was that all F9/Lynx pilots would be on the SWA seniority list...period. Not preferential interviews, ON THE LIST. Pay guarantees at whatever current pay scale were also offered, meaning SWA pay or F9/Lynx pay whatever was greater. From what I can see, most FO's would have had an immediate 40% pay raise. It is what it is, let's not try to rewrite what the offer actually was.
Good to see you posting again. From your history, I thought that you'd disappear after the F9 acquisition. I thought you were from the RAH PR department. Maybe it's employee relations instead. Perhaps your time is better spent telling the Frontier mechanics how fortunate they are.

That is just insane for the mechanics to agree to the move for their jobs. Put homes for sale, getting out of leases. Getting family ready to move And then get kicked in the ---. to find out you get hosed on your "agreement" So so sad. I wish you all the best in this farce. Enjoy your Tuesday. Take care.

Republic Airways Holdings has changed course and will abandon either the Frontier Airlines or Midwest Airlines name next month and combine its new subsidiaries into one company, new VP-Marketing and Branding Ian Arthur told American City Business Journals. "I think the name is very important. And certainly part of our decision is which customer base is more willing to migrate over to the other brand," Arthur said. "There's significant equity in both of them." Republic said it intended to keep both brands when it acquired the pair last year

At this point I would not be surprised if it was the Frontier name that was dropped.

That's like the third video that I've seen with different subtitles added to it. It gets funnier every time. One was an American Airlines meeting on something and another was......either way fun stuff

Funny stuff, the video that is.
I've used F9 to commute to 4 of my 7 different domiciles. I want the fluffy white mouse to stay.
Yep, there's a lot. One about CAL, one about NW, one about DAL, FedEx, UPS, and one about foreign crews as well. There's also tons of them about various other things, Michael Jackson dieing, Kanye West, itunes, Churchill stealing his hamburger and bicycle etc.
But the funniest one is where Hitler finds out he's being goofed on youtube
