Default Int'l PerDiem

For those who receive Int'l PerDiem in your contract, when does your Int'l Rate start and when does it end? Does it start when you arrive in the Int'l city or does it start when you depart the domestic city to the int'l city? And when you leave the int'l city, does it stop when you depart or does stop when you arrive in a domestic city?

For example: 3-Day trip
ATL
YYZ
JFK

It starts at sign in and ends 30 mins after landing back in domicile.

So no matter if you have a mix multi-day (domestic & Int'l), you get int'l rate the entire trip?
