Airlines expect stronger summer travel season
International travel expected to strongly outpace domestic flying
Too bad NK won't be getting in on this....oh, well...you reap what you sow

Oh contrary my friend. I happen to work with them and I was informed that my name along with several other pilots were sent to the CP as potential "contract pilots". I told them i didn't have legal amount of time and i am not willing to cross any picket lines. they informed me not to worry about the time and this could be a great opportunity to start my career. they also warned not to pass a great opportunity like this. Long story short my answer was "thanks but no thanks."

Let the professionals at Spirit fly the Spirit routes. Fly the contract and be safe.

Last low time group that went through took over 100 hours of IOE. Not that you couldn't manage but with the load of training they would have to do getting enough check airmen to keep it flying would be difficult.
SCARE TACTICS!!! This one however is farrrrrrr to easy to not believe.
NICE JOB THOUGH!!!!!! Let them see that it might be harder than they think to try and beat us!!

anyone out there considering scabbing....just not worth it....I know a few guys who scabbed at eastern...they regret it every day of their lives, because today they could be captains at major airlines, but instead ended up as expatriate pilots, 1/2 way around the world. don't forget ALPA publishes a list of all scab pilots...by airline and year of strike....most interview boards have a line pilot that brings this list to the conference room.
