I think he was being sarcastic. Yes, buyouts of the remainder of the contracts would be chump change. All of us just signed 5 yr deals last year so if a company came in at 4 years and bought us at 4 yrs and 6 months they could just let us finish our 5th yr and tell us to scram and it would cost nothing. Sadly, there would be nothing any of us could do about it cause we are contract employees. Even if we didn't get bought there is no stipulation that they have to renew when our contract expires. All they have to do is say "we're not renewing your contract, nice knowing you." Guys tell me that they wouldn't do that, yeah like I'm going to trust management. Don't think so, they have lied to us on many occasions and we were left out of the scheduling manual implementation. Be very aware.

Pilot Age at JetBlue

Does Anyone have a good idea of the age of each of the 2000 pilots at JetBlue. I know that it is a fairly young pilot group, but does anyone have any actual numbers? Just curious.

Thanks,

MC

I dont know but there are captains in their early 30's and a ton in their 40's, hence the reason an upgrade will be a looooooooonnnnnnng time. I would think an upgrade at Delta would be shorter than it is at jetblue.

Am I just waking up from a 2-month hangover, or is it still July? Those pics say 9/6/2010...?
