On the FAQ part of the DPA they address the subject.

I mean there really are just three directions for the pilot group to take, 1) keep ALPA as is, 2) change ALPA from within, or 3) fire ALPA.

Talking about any one of those is worthwhile.

Speaking of AT, anyone talk to those guys about the lawsuit against ALPA they're trying to get together?

Because their pilot group had a majority vote of YES for the integration?!?

Best I can tell, that pretty much sums it up.
I think the "DALPA strategy" and "our objective" is what the membership has dictated them to be through the contract objective poll that every member had ample opportunity to sound off on....is that not your understanding?

That was ALPA's defense in the TWA DFR case. The jury found ALPA guilty after a short deliberation. The AT claim (if there is one) will be the undue pressure that was able to be exerted on them by SWAPA due to specific actions by ALPA, and those specific actions amount to a DFR failure.

This is precisely one of the problems. We don't know any of that. All we DO know is that DALPA has no intention of releasing even the most cryptic hint of what the survey results were. And DALPA has no intention of releasing any part of our opener after it is exchanged with management.

Don't know the exacts but it has something to do with the first TA and I guess memos to the group or something. It's an ALPA guy who told me about it. I'd have to see on the AT threads.

To me I thought they should keep fighting SWA but I guess some were really okay with the first TA.
