Junior swa pilots will get hammered...poolies will drown and swa upgrades will screach to a halt to make room for airtran 717 capts. It will take a while to stabilize any good size merger. All the optimistic hiring/timeline posters are in for a huge dose of reality.

SWA has run out of low cost labor--finally, run out of places to go, and has now taken on an airline having labor with completely different views.

fwiw, not sure quick turns happen in ATL. especially if someone floods the ramp with other metal, i suspect swa isnt thimking a quick turn philosophy is the key to success in ATL- or even a component.
