This board would be better off if everyone just put D'angelo on their ignore lists.

I'm all for the exchanging of ideas on this forum but unfortunately your right. This turd has now become the first on my ignore list.

Hopefully he'll grow up and become a real Pilot someday.

Oh for sure unions did good things in the past. Never denied that. Unfortunately somewhere along the way unions never saw an end to their lust for money, power, and control. They caused many once good american jobs to be outsourced. Pilot is not blue collar labor. We play with the autopilot all day. Hardly manual labor. The only bit of manual labor is on take off then turning off the autopilot to land. Hardly what I call down and dirty work. You wear a suit to work etc. Hardly blue collar. The unions just want everyone to think that to keep the percieved need for unionism out there.

Oranges and Tangerines, eh? I suppose you may be right.

I don't think pilots fit neatly into either the blue or white collar category. We are more disposable than many white collar workers, however or jobs require much more training than many (not all) blue collar jobs.
