Its clearly fear feeding by bringing it up in the context of "asking" was it a near collision with the bridge when they knew for a fact it wasn't, then pausing for drama, showing it in slow-mo so joe six pack thinks it might be, then and only then saying it wasn't. They really exaggerated the level of "internet sensation" it was too. Anything to sell copy in their failing market segment. Their socialist progressive crap isn't selling except to their declining base but they know fear of flying will always, always, always sell ad space.

The "post-game" analysis is hysterical...what a joke.

You will be happy to learn that except for the last day of the show, it was 100% union flown!

Alrighty then Vagabond,

You want dangerous? I'll show you dangerous airliner flying.

Watch at 13 seconds as our hero pilot picks up dust with his left wing tip in a low altitude turn. This guys was mere feet away from an entirely different kind of Youtube video. And he didn't realize how close he was or he'd have never done it. It's that close to disaster.

Great commentary and analysis of this near disaster by those expert aviators in the media!

That's not news, that's low altitude heavy skillz. CNN = Fail

Those folks flying out of SNA do these vertical climbs all the time.

Because the weasels at CNN are backtracking slimy SOB's!!!

The original video was a guy anchor and girl reporter literally FREAKING out about: (paraphrasing here)

" I can't believe, in this day and age since 9/11, that they would do this"

"OMG!!! (paused video) Look how close that is to the bridge!!!!"

"Unbelievable that they could be this stupid. That's insane!!"

You get the idea. They obviously caught enough crap over it, that they PULLED the clip. They even went to the extent of replacing the content of the hyperlink to the "explanation" video.

Seriously, the first video clip that they have since pulled was an outrage.

HERE IT IS!!

Safe to say that the "on-air" CNN anchor's will be scratching the "Take your daughter to work day" off their calendar's for 2011.

As evidence of the above link, it failed miserably.
