Now mind you I don't hate SWA but now that you mention it...Something that has always bothered me is all the "shortcuts" that SWA guys seem to ask for. In a vacuum its no big deal, but when you ask for intersection T/O's, landing on the inside(departing) runway at MCO etc etc etc, you are putting yourself ahead of all the rest of us who just "go with the flow" Oh and you seemed to have trained ATC to give it you

Agreed. It's like telling the little spoiled kid who's had everything handed to him his whole life "No" for the first time.
And, as they say, hilarity ensued...
Now, I'm not saying that all SWA guys are spoiled, nor am I saying it's even a large (or even small) minority...but those aren't the guys posting in this thread....
It's for the guys who:
Were football/soccer/lacross/whatever jocks in high school
Went to State U and went OCS, slid through UPT and got their first choice on the dream sheet, did their 10, and went right to SWA
-or-
Slid out of whatever puppy mill they went to right into the right seat of a jet, hit the timing right, upgraded in 12 months, and onto SWA in 3 years.
Bascially, it's the guys (or gals) that have always been the "bright stars" and have never been told "no" in their whole career. Now that there's been a speedbump, oh boy, it ain't fair!
Well, life is like that. Just deal.
