I think I just had a two pickets to titsburgh moment.
Oh the amount of times Ive been surfing these forums when my wife walks by and someone had posted something glorious like that... "what are you looking at?" "it's just Delta stuff, sweetie."

That's what I say. She normally will just cut her eyes at me and say, "um hummm." But, because it's Selma, I will probably get a punch for it. It's worth it, I should get two punches for what I'm thinking.....

While there may be two separate unions here, it is still a merger/acquistion or whatever you want to call it. This is no different than the CAL-UAL merger. All four parties sat down to discuss and conclude a Transition and Process Agreement: CAL ALPA, UAL ALPA, CAL management and UAL management. Two different pilot groups and contracts still in place with detailed language on how the transition from two companies to one will go, to include JCBA negotiations and SLI. There was no agreement between CAL and CAL ALPA. There was no agreement between UAL and UAL ALPA. There was ONE four-party agreement that everyone was involved in.

The Air Tran MEC's concerns and points are quite valid.

Why should this be any different?

O.M.G. That's brilliant. Embedded catharses (no not that, read it again if you just cringed) that we are free to look at without penalty! That's like diplomatic immunity or whatever. Best case you totally get away with it and absolutely worst case you can throw your anonymous buddy who doesn't care under the bus:

"What smut? Oh that? Yeah I didn't even see that I was just reading industry stuff seeing if our next raise is going to be big enough to get you something really nice from Tiffany's and junk. Yeah that guy is always posting obnoxious pics like that [add "of his wife" if they can't be traced to known celebs]. he's a total pig. I think I know who it is too and no one can stand him.

As an added bonus, she gets subliminally jealous and starts working out more to prove that she's still got it.
