Yikes! The hits just keep on coming!
Virgin America plans aircraft deferrals
As my old Navy Maintenance Control CPO used to say, "Never believe rumors about new airplanes until they park them on the ramp AND turn over the maintenance logs."

Fuel prices are going to destroy the growth all these airlines are planning. Just do what President Obama says and buy a fuel efficent car. Problem solved. That way the cost of food will go back down too.

Still looks like they will be at 52 aircraft by mid 2012 vs the 39 they are at now.... so thats still 13 more aircraft than currently in the stable......so yes... why they are holding off on some aircraft they still are growing in the near term.

Another good saying:
Psalm 118:8 (King James Version)
It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
Thanks for the wisdom.

Just a bump in the road, it will happen. Great response from our Commander-in-Chief when
asked about rising fuel prices, "I think we start looking into this". The Exxon in Crystal City is already $4 bucks for cheap unleaded. At $4 bucks, you can no longer call it cheap.
