ALK Position Bid...

To anyone in the know - do you know if the bid results are going to be published early or are we going to have to wait until Friday?

Also, anyone know how soon they company is going to start the pilot application/interview process? I know it's some time this Fall, maybe even late Summer. I'm just hoping to have a game plan for a couple of buddies who want to get on the property here.

The bid reportedly got gorked up and has to be re-run today from scratch. It was to be published today, but won't come out until friday.

How fresh is your info? I received an email from DM yesterday at 7:45am. In that email, she mentioned the bid being published today, barring any "catastrophes."

When did said recent "gorking" occur? This would be the third I've heard about.

Just so you guys know, was told by the Horizon Dir of Flight Ops last week in re-current that they're (QX) expecting AS to start interviewing/hiring by Oct for Q1 of 2012 classes. They're expecting for QX to start losing CA's/FO's (the 30% of new hires thing) and they're projecting to start interviewing shortly there after.

QX is also applying for RNP of .11 with the new WAAS FMS'...wonder why that would be...

30% of Alaska new hires coming from Horizon. Or in other words the carrot being dangled in front of Horizon pilots for years.

I've never heard of that. Is that in writing somewhere? Is that something AS mangament says or something QX managment says? When did that hiring practice start?
