Can we get a list of Majors that are hiring in 2012. Airlines/numbers of new hires (projected of course).

Is this either flamebait or a joke? Who knows what the next six months bring in the country, let alone the airline biz. NO ONE knows (except blowhards).

Rumor at AA is that we will be hiring off the street in spring. (And furloughing 6 months later. LOL)

Hello all, first time posting. I'm just looking for some advice. I may have an opportunity in the not to distant future to get picked up by a regional, the problem is I'm am senior in college. I still have a full year of classes left. Is it a better move to take a job with a regional build time and finish college on-line, or finish college and wait the extra year to try and get picked up after graduation? As far as DL hiring, it's definitely possible. Sounds like FedEx, USair, and Alaska are likely to hire as well. |
