Not unless they start developing the Russian Far East oil again.

I get the sense that the application window is open to people with internal recs and people who are wai and Obap members now. The window for the general public will open up within a month or two. I'm not saying it's right, but it definitely helps to be a part of an organization or have close ties to the company. If you happen to apply to the general job posting you would be a long shot. If you're serious about working here, you have to network by going to job fairs or calling old friends.

Classes with new-hire will start this fall or early next year.

What did you mean by "get the sense"? Do you mean that if you have an internal rec, you can apply online?

I can't find the bulletin I was looking for. I thought the chief pilot said we could forward his office resumes with our recommendation attached. Then we got an email that said that we could have pilots create a profile online before the window opens. It seems, all that would do, is save some time later on when the window actually opens.

If it's true that we are going to have new hires in class this December and that we are going to start interviewing next month, they must already know who they are going to interview for that first class.

Hmmm...I have the VP Flt Ops Update from GB saying to forward resumes to TK, but the second one regarding the application? I don't recall that one.
Cheers !

I called DM to ask about something other than the bid. Her outgoing message said she was going to be out of the office most of next week to process the bid with ALPA. It sounds like info won't start getting leaked until next Tuesday or Wednesday.
