I am happy to finally see the B787 certified. All of us LCF Dreamlifter Pilots with Evergreen are proud to have been a part of the program. It was a short three years with the program, but a very enjoyable time for us.

Wonder why they didn't try a 747 style cockpit up on the higher level?

Green Giant - why's the DreamLifter parked on the MIA ramp for the last couple of weeks? Backlog at the factory in SEA trickling down to the fuselage deliveries?

Here's the pilot:

Seriously, a buddy of mine was waiting in line in JFK for departure when the A380 was just starting service. Tower made a quip "guys, worlds ugliest airplane is on final." And then the A380 checked in.

God bless JFK/LGA/EWR, they're just a lot of fun.

It looks like the front of an E170/E190.

I see that too.

The only difference is the E170 made a profit.

A wrecked burning hulk of an airplane is prettier than the 380.

It doesn't fly, the earth repels it.

Its performance sucks too, we take off usually right behind it from Singapore to Narita and we always out climb it and out run it around the Philippines, and that is with us flying at ECON between .80 and .81

Its climb may suck, but I have seen it fly at 104 KIAS at KOSH and that was impressive.

But of course if we ever bought it, and we would probably buy a huge fleet of 5.. there would be those clamoring to ensure that it paid $400/hour.
