Default SWA trip/hourly rate conversion constant

I'm doing some year end house keeping on the site and wanted to double check the SWA conversion constant. Our current APC published SWA rates are based on the commonly [SWAPA] accepted conversion constant from trip to hourly rate from 2008. I'd like to make sure that the constant that we have is current, can anyone help?

Thanks!

the most recent # I've seen is 1.1607 multiplier of TFP to get Hourly.

HSLD,

Not sure why it would ever change. Trip rate times 1.1393.

Why would it be 1.1607 vs. 1.1393? I know we are talking miniscule fractions here but just wondering why it would change. Stage length, etc.?

The (wondering) Oscar

I'm with Oscar. I thought the conversion factor would remain unchanged and the TFP number would change.

It seems to me that average stage length would increase it, but I have absolutely no idea what the correct number would be.

1.1607 is what was used by SWA to convert the AirTran rates to TFP in the LOA to the ALPA contract dealing with integration.

FWIW
