I would like to express my sincere thanks to the CA of Delta 7 and the deadheading CA as well which departed DXB on the evening of the 30th. The CA personally came back to my seat in coach and escorted me up to business class for the 16 hour flight to ATL. I had met the deadheading CA in the departure lounge and said he would speak to the CA if there was a seat available. In addition many thanks to "Sandy" and "Julie" who insured I was well taken care of during the entire trip. I can't say enough about this crew and how well they treated me. Well done.

Professional courtesy lives once again!
However, every time I take this flight it is RAMMED with nonrevs and S4's. Not uncommon to see standby lists approaching 50+ which begs the question...why are there so many Delta employees and their buddies going to/from DXB?

I don't think ANY non revs got on the night of the 30th. Flight was about 75% contractors coming out of Iraq and Afghanistan.
"Sandy" even told me it was one of the places that employees are warned not to travel to because of the difficulty in getting out because of the loads.
Yes, very classy CA. He met EVERY passenger at the door and welcomed them on board.
