Default ID90 in Hawaii

Has anyone done the ID90 thing on Hawaiian lately? I was curious about availability. I did about 11 years ago, but there were two airlines then; didn't know if there were still usually seats available.

Depending on departure city, freight carriers are a WONDERFUL option as some of them make you space positive within 24 hours of the flight leaving. Check the atlasair.com website as a viable source. Not sure which tab it's under but I'm sure you can find it that shows flight schedules and jumpseat info. I think what you have to do is request a jumpseat then it pulls the flights and go from there. Only catch is you have to be in CASS

ORD-HNL with a business class seat and catering wouldn't sound that bad to me.

Sorry, I should've been more clear on what I'm looking at. This would be for me, my wife, and 3 kids. Probably island to island (ie Oahu to Kauai). In 2001 when Aloha was running 73's, there were plenty of seats available. Just not sure how it looks now, or how to find out.

Thanks for the info, though!

There are open seats on most flights. Better is either early morning or late afternoon/evening as middle of the day is pretty busy with the connecting traffic.
There are flight at least every hour, if not half hour, all day starting at 5am.
So if you miss one no big deal. Your next flight is probably getting ready to board anyway!
Have fun!

How about PHX - HNL and back? I'm headed to a cruise so I'll probably buy real tickets but if April is historically a slow month I may chance it.

Thanks for youze guyz help
