I am flying PHL-SEA on Airways "soon" and I am pretty sure that I could get a bathroom to myself. Looks like a nonrev dream.

Nope, you just got lucky. All Seattle commuters know SEA to PHX, CLT, ot PHL is packed. I'm a PHX commuter and I bump into the poor guys that have to go through PHX out of PHL or CLT, because the direct flights are so full.

I sometimes ride out of PHX on Alaska, because even though they haul plenty, their flights aren't as full as ours. Plus, I think Alaska has better service.

Who doesn't like riding in a heavy A321 stuck at FL310.

It's hit or miss. PHL seems to be the lightest (relatively) out of the three (CLT, PHX and PHL). Check out the loads all this week.

Yes, but it's still better than a trans-con in a 737. I love the 737, but anything over 4 hours in that airplane is a form of torture.
