Is the 'no thanks' letter an email or a snail mail letter? Didn't get one yet, just curious what to look for.

Perhaps this is why???

That's what I was curious about. Either I'm a candidate for an interview or they simply haven't got to my application yet.

I won't "hold off speculating..."

Potential merger?

When you go on the Job Website..go to the top of the page...click on "Returning Candidates"...enter your E-Mail Address that you used to apply for the position with and your password.

You will then be taken to your Status...

A few folks may be lucky enough to be awarded a class date for the coming months, but others will probably remain in a hiring pool until pilot manning produces a bid that shows another need for a staffing increase.

I'd guess that you will remain "under review" until some other action is taken with your application. You could be offered an interview at some unknown date in the future, but once you see your status change to "position filled" that's when you know that the prior applications have been purged and trashed.

So right now I'd compare it to treading water. But I wouldn't hold my breath with expectations of a suprise. I don't see a new application window opening again, with interviews and hiring until maybe December of this year.

Thanks for the clarity Trent890.....I'll hold out some hope as I could really use a break right now.

Thanks Georgia....Your right..it's not like it used to be..seems you can't talk to anyone anymore......I still need to hold out some hope..maybe I'll get a break, along with your friends that you are trying to help also...

Those of us on the outside still need people, like you, to try to speak for those of us on the outside without a voice...

Thanks for sharing.....I'll keep hanging in there.
